Wanda S. Wright MS, LMHC: Psychotherapist
I am passionate about providing a compassionate and empathetic space where my client and I can form a partnership to pursue the changes they seek. I believe that there is a greater potential for healing when someone feels deeply seen and heard, and I believe that mental health symptoms are often the language of our souls to use to communicate our deepest needs.
I have extensive experience working in the King County mental health system, including many years in the crisis system and have working knowledge of the mental health system, hospitals, crisis systems and how to utilize them if needed.
I have worked with clients who are experiencing serious and persistent mental illnesses or clients who are having their first experiences with a serious mental illness. I also work well with people who have struggled in the past to connect with the therapeutic process.
I enjoy spending time with my daughter, kayaking, minivacations around the PNW, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
